I recently migrated my RR-SQL reports from Oracle Client ODBC drivers 8.X to 9.X with the following good and bad news:____1. good news - the limitation to OUTER JOINS disappeared - under 8.X you could only have a single LEFT OUTER JOIN . This is GOOD news !!____2. bad news - the use of "LIMIT RESULT" causes a DR WATSON failure - __the only difference was the migration to the Oracle 9.X drivers - it appears that the RR "LIMIT RESULT" is not supported in Oracle 9.X.____i would like to hear if there is a work-around to the LIMIT RESULT problem - that function is very useful when testing RR-SQL reports.____i am using RR-SQL version 10.1.003 and Windows NT 4.0____thanks,__nick__

R&R is supposed to query the driver and ask if limit result can be supported and then only offer it if the answer is yes.__I do not think that anyone has reported a crash under these circumstances before.____There is really no equivalent way to get there that will tell R&R to stop fetching records after x number of records. ____Kathleen__R&R Support
