RRS Files

Post by Eugene_Feather_(Guest) » Mon May 02, 2005 9:31 am

On my posting last week, I was not clear about one aspect of what I was trying to do. I know that I can put the /O option into the RRWRUN or RSWRUN command line.____What I was hoping to do, however, was let the users "see" a directory in which the RRS files are located, and have them just double-click on the RRS file and let Windows File Association take over from there. This works as long as they have write access to the directory, but I don^t want to give them that. Also, this fails if I have more than one person running a report in a directory at the same time.____What I was looking for was a solution in which I could force the output file to go to another place.____Thanks.......Gene______

I do not think that there is a way to get there through a double click execute of the control file.____Kathleen__R&R Support
