Report Data Source

Anyone know if I can change or remove a report^s default data source from the report designer? When I first created the report, I did not know that the data source I chose will be permenantly saved with the report and there is no way (that I know of) to change it.

You can change a datasource for a report.__Open the report designer and select Options Data Source.__Make sure that the Allow choice of Data Source button is enabled for Opening Reports.____Then use the File Open menu choice.__In the Open Report dialog there will be three boxes at the bottom for File Name:__Files of Type:__Data Source:____When you select a report and its file name will appear in the first box and in the third box you will see its saved data source.__You can then click the arrow and select a different data source to open the report with. Once the report is opened with the new data source you can then save it and the new data source becomes the saved data source.______Kathleen__R&R Support
