Report Export Issues

Post by Kim_(Guest) » Fri Jun 08, 2001 1:02 pm

Export Issues with R&R for SQL v8.1____When I export a multi-column report to RTF, all formatting is lost. The exported file has a single-column which makes it completely unusable in Word.____Exporting a report with a VARCHAR(1500) column to Excel or xBase causes the field to truncate to 254 characters. Any suggestions?______________

Dbase files .DBF have a 254 character limitation. __Worksheets (wks) have a similar one. ____***********__M. Henry

The above limitation is the maximum characters per field or column. ____********__MH

Actually, FoxPro files (.DBF) can have fields that are of MEMO type that are of unlimited length.
