Again, this is about the report is in use, do you want to make a copy message. Thought I^d take a chance and see if anyone out there who^s indicated in this forum a solution or has tried something and had success - file locking setting in particular - is checking in and can share any clarification and more specific information on a fix.__Problem started when we upgraded to R&R 8.1, Win 2000 & Novell 5.1 and also got new hardware - server and stations.__We are also experiencing some problems in other software that could be caused possibly by this file locking issue so I am particularly anxious to resolve this at least test it. Our IS guy just can^t find any info on this anywhere - curious....__

I was hoping to see some resolution also - we started looking into this several months ago. Ths is creating a real problem for reports that attach to FoxPro databases, because when we reindex a dbf, we can^t get the form reattached properly and all data is out of whack.__Anyone out there have any success getting around this "Do you want to make a copy?" message?______>Again, this is about the report is in use, do you want to __>make a copy message. [updated:LAST EDITED ON Sep-23-02 AT 03:03 PM (EST)]Not sure how you are running the R&R, but if you are running it through a foxpro program, then close all databases prior to running the report.____That should do the trick!____Sorry, I read your message wrong! Sounds like a serious issue, good luck....
