It appears R&R SQL Edition v9.x uses InstallShield 3.x to load Report Writer but I^m unable to create a good setup.iss response file with the command "setup.exe -r". Basically, I^m never able to complete the installation as I receive an "Invalid Serial Number" error message even before the step to enter it! How can I do a custom R&R install and have setup.exe automatically create a response file?____Apparently setup.exe is responding to the -r parameter as setup.iss is created in the windows directory but, again, I get stuck in that invalid serial number infinite loop. Any help will be greatly appreciated!__

We did not design the ability to do a silent install within Version 9.__To do so it might require changes in our own setup routines.__If you want to pursue this issue, I am afraid that it would fall into the category of a chargeable support issue and you would need to call our support line and arrange payment in order for us to assist.____Kathleen__R&R Support
