Runtime Error ^1004^

While trying to run my Pivot Table reports I started getting the error message 1004 You are attempting to open a file type that is blocked by your registry policy. I have not upgraded by Excel for about a year Excel 2003 and was running these reports yesterday with no problems. Any help would be appreciated.____butch

Kathleen,____I just figured out the problem. My company updated my Office 2003 with service pack 3. This update wipes out the ability of Excel to see wks files. The only fix was to uninstall all Microsoft Office and re-install it without the updates. Thanks for your prompt reply.____Butch
