Runtime PDF creation Failure

I have an application which calls the R&R Runtime to create a PDF. The APP works in W-98 without problem. In the NT, W-2000, W-XP environment an error occurs if permissions or not power user or higher. I have tested this on difference LANs and only had success when the permissions were set as noted. This is normally a workable situation. However, I now have a customer using a W-2000 sp3 network where even with full ADMIN rights the error occurs. Could network printer permission settings impact the runtime virtual print creation?____The error is "cannot find Printer" followed by a notice that the R&R runtime has an error and will shutdown.____I am using R&R version 9.0.009. Any suggested solutions or an explanation for such a happening.

This is a problem that has been happening for a long time. There seems to be some kind of a conflict with the cdintf.dll file and Windows XP or higher. It does not effect all machines, but enough to cause the problem. I know that on my machine, if I run my dbase program on the D drive, the problem does not exist. It only happens on the C: drive.____The solution, for now, would be to install your system on something other than the C: drive or delete the cdintf.dll file. If you delete the cdintf.dll file, you will not be able to create pdf files.____Good Luck!

What is happening is that the PDF printer is not being correctly installed. Send me an email and I will follow up with you when I return from the UK next Wednesday and have access to the files on my local machine.____Kathleen__R&R Support
