SQL Designer Mutex Error

Post by skybox » Sun Mar 10, 2013 10:22 am

I have a reportworks infinity 12.5 and have been using Xbase version for years.____Now have some SQL databases that I want to use.____Using Shared License, which has been working well.____I am getting a license error (also below) when starting SQL designer ___Serial Number error: mutex timeout_____This is the first time I am using the SQL product. My impression is that my license covers both SQL and Xbase. No one is currently using the Xbase license when I tried this.____Windows Server 2008 R2 running in Terminal Services____Any ideas on how to tackle this?

I helped to figure this out in a remote session. The answer was to create a new RSW.LIC file and copy it over the existing one which seemed to be corrupted somehow. The RRW.LIC file was OK.__
