Seek or find data´s

Post by Wolfgang » Wed Sep 10, 2003 1:00 am

Hallo,__what is the quickest way for a printout. I have a file indexed on name with 48000 entries. Now I want to print all Names beginning with "Schmi*". A query is very slow (takes 8 Sek). How can I use seek or something like that?__Wolfgang

If this is the Xbase version and you have a master index you want to use Database Scope in place of doing a query.____Kathleen__R&R Support
