Kathleen & Friends,____ Enviro: RRW Version 9.0 and Clipper and Win98SE and WinXP____ I have to place a *conditional* shaded box on my report.____ This box has a short text field a database field. For example:____ Revision No. 3 (where ^3^ is the field)and a shaded __ box surrounds this text)____ I want the box and the data it encloses to be visible and shaded, OR to be completely *invisible*.____Question: How do I make the box itself ^conditional^ ??? (The text and data I can make disappear :)) )____TIA,____-Mel Smith__

I would use conditional lines. Make two of the same line with the same data and the same box in each. THen make both conditional, with mutually exclusive conditions (condition is true for one and same condition is false for the other).

This box spans a couple of lines and so it may be marginally more difficult.____ Are you saying that ^boxes^ cannot be made conditional ???____Thanks for your reply !____-Mel Smith__

Boxes cannot be made conditional. Only the lines where they start and end.____Kathleen__R&R Support
