Static Parameter

I have a static parameter with Yes and No as the values and Yes been the default value. I check the box to replace default with runtime input value. When I ran the report, I check the No box as the input, so in theory, R&R will keep the second box "No" checked. However, R&R keeps the second box "No" checked and also changed my "No" to "Yes". So I have two "Yes"s and no "No" in the value list.____This issue happens when I have a static parameter with replace default value option checked. Does anyone experience this problem? Thanks.__

What version of R&R are you using and in what version was the parameter created? I just tested a new report in 11.1.0009 and 12.0.002 and do not see the problem on my machine.____Can you alternatively use a regular logical parameter instead so that the user can select from Yes/No radio buttons?____Kathleen__R&R Support__

I am using 12.0.002. ____This problem doesn^t happen every time, it^s randomly. I found this problem with one report, then I unchecked the replace default value option box to fix it. Later when I tried to reproduce the problem by checking the box, I cannot reproduce it. But this happened in one of my reports several times. Also I have other reports with static parameter values which are a text field and cannot use logical radio button.____Thanks.__

My guess is the report where the problem occurs was first created in a earlier version (where we had only static and not static and dynamic parameters) so that the internal file format is somewhat different.____The workaround would be to re-build the report in 12.0.002 to start clean.____Kathleen__R&R Support
