Boxes fill in dark wrongly.

Post by JSGWYNNE » Fri Nov 22, 2002 7:45 pm

I created an empty box across several title lines, V.10.__The box looks fine in the designer.____The box prints out filled in black on my HP Laser with the runtime V.10, RRWRUN.____But it prints correctly from the designer, V.10 and the earlier runtime, V.9.________

Are you sure that your RRPD.DLL is a Version 10 and not a Version 9 release. If you use a V9 RRPD.DLL with a V10 executable you can get the black box effect.____I tried the report that you sent to me and it worked fine to my HP4050 using either V9 or V10.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Check the file date and version of your RSWRUN.EXE and RRPD.DLL and let me know what each one is.____Kathleen__R&R Support

The computer(s) causing this error did have the version 9 DLL coupled with the version 10 dll, runtimes.______I set up and experiment and proved this was the problem.____Thank you.____The dll is so small. Why not just incorporate the code in the EXE and eliminate this extra file?____John__
