Terminal Server/Upgrading R&R

Post by john » Tue Feb 24, 2004 3:16 pm

Hello,____I am using R&R Report Writer version 8 for XBase on a Windows 2000 Terminal Server. I notice that when a report is "print previewed", rrw.exe uses an enormous amout of resources, bogging down the server for all the other users.____Is there any fix for this or is this issue fixed in later versions of Report Writer? Also are there any known issues in upgrading from version 8.0 to 10+ with regards to XBase reports? And does version 10+ support exporting of reports to other programs?____My principle issue is with the Terminal Server. Thanks in advance for your support.

I had the same problem. Upgrading to version 10+ fixed the problem. ____I have been very happy with the latest version and it works well in our terminal services environment.
