I have an odd problem Im hoping someone has come across. We have several users logging in to a Windows 2000 Terminal Server with Report Works v 11.1 installed. Some users have no problem running reports (or opening up report designer for that matter), others, including the domain admin cant even run the report designer - when I double click on the icon or the rrw.exe file itself, nothing launches - no processes, etc. However, when I log in to the server as the local admin, I have no problem running rrw.exe. I tried deleting and recreating the user profile with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Try adding the line:____PDFDRIVER=0____to the c:windowsRRW.INI file for these users and see if it helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I added this to the [Defaults] section to both the rrw.ini files in the program directory and in the user profile^s windows directory with no luck. Do you have any other suggestions?

Can RRWRUN.EXE be executed without a problem? If so, the source of the RRW.EXE problem may be that users do not have sufficient writes to update the RRW.LIC license file. Each time that the designer is executed, RRW.LIC is modified to show that the R&R designer serial number is in use.____Kathleen__R&R Support
