Text Alignment Not working properly

version 11.1.0007__The text tool feature added to version 11 is not working properly. You have also left off the alignment feature for vertical and horizontal spacing. Will that be added in future?____xxxx__xxxxxxxx__xxxxxxxx____Selecting Align right gives-OK result.____ xxxx__xxxxxxxx__xxxxxxxx____Ok____Select Align Left gives-below.(Aligns to top text left) There are other combinations that can be set up also that give unexpected results. i.e. align center, align right gives unexpected results)____ xxxx__ xxxxxxxx__ xxxxxxxx____Should be:____xxxx__xxxxxxxx__xxxxxxxx____Dan__

The way that it is meant to work is that the selected alignment is applied to multiple objects with the object anchor being the last selected item.__Is what you are describing different than this?____Kathleen__R&R Support__

I seems to be the way it works in that the first value selected defines the alignment position, left edge or right edge. It is un-conventional to other alignment software that I have used. Other software alignment utilities are not specific as to which field is selected first. I don^t see any advantage to using your method of alignment. Are there any?____Dan

Microsoft Visual Basic aligns to the last selected object as does Crystal Reports so there are other apps out there that use the same convention as R&R.____Kathleen__R&R Support
