Using network printers from R&R 5.0
Hi everybody,____I have an old application using R&R 5.0 for DOS and FoxPro (2.4)__The application was working just fine till (for some different reasons) appeared the necessity to upgrade the network to W2K (NTFS).____Basically the application uses three printers (connected to different W2K workstations). There are no problems to print any report if the printer is a local one, however there is no possible to use any network printing resource. That_s why is no possible to print from most of the workstations.____I_ve tried using NET USE LTP1 \ServerNamePrinterName but didn_t solve the problem.____Can anybody give me an idea for fixing this problem?____Any help will be really appreciated.

The DOS versions of R&R will only use local ports.____If you are getting a printer unavailable error, what might help is running RRSETUP and then select the printer and the Interface menu choice.____Change the 4 Check options at the bottom from the default of Yes to No and then save the CNF file and see if that helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support
