Have just started using the new ReportWorks version and love most of the enhancements. Having one problem, though....____The integration to DDE seems to be working fine within the Report Designer, but when I try to launch either DDE or the Librarian it doesn^t fire up... no sign-in screen comes up. I am able to find a process running in the background (datadict.exe or rl.exe) but no actual application.____Am running on a network/workstation installation with XP on the workstation and Win2000 on the server.

Did you do a workstation install from the server? That would place the required visual foxpro support files that are required for the DD and Report Librarian utilities on the local workstation.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____Yes, this was installation on the workstation from the server, I think everything was done and flowed pretty much as described in the install instructions. Everything else seems to be working fine, and I can access the DD from within R&R. However, just to be sure, I repeated the WS installation with no change in result.____What are the files or other settings I should be seeing on the local machine?

Help anyone? Am still unable to get DDE and Librarian to work properly.

Can you use the result set browser from within the report designer? That is also a visual foxpro utility.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Yes, the results browser seems to work okay.

That says that visual foxpro is working so I am puzzled why the dictionary editor and librarian do not display. Sorry.____Kathleen__R&R Support
