XP error with version 8.1 runtime

I have version 8.1 of Report Writer. Everything seems to work fine in Windows XP except for the runtime executable. I get a dialog telling me to send this error to Microsoft.____If I run the same runtime through the network from a Win98 PC everything works fine.____Any idea why this is happening?

We have not tested Version 8.1 (since it is an older version) against XP but the current Version 9.0 does indeed run successfully under XP.__Do you get the error dialog by simply double click executing RRWRUN.EXE from explorer?______Kathleen__R&R Support
