using runtime I can run a report and bring back the results using an Rss file on 2000. When I do this on XP it simply does not display anything. It flashes as if doing something but does not return any data.____I am using the same report and the same data on both platforms.____Any Assistance would be appreciated.

We have experienced the same issue at a customer site and suspect that it may be the use of MDAC v2.8 SP1 for Win XP. Can Liveware Publishing provide any more info?

It^s R&R SQL v10 using MS SQL Server 2000. ____The problem is also with the report writer which reports no records found. This can^t be correct. We^ve since discovered another Win XP machine where the same problem exists, however this has MDAC v2.7 sp1.____Win 2000 machines seem to run this report returning data (both are looking at the same db). Are there any known Win XP issues?

What version of R&R? Is only runtime and not the full product installed on this machine?____What happens if you double click executable the runtime executable and then manually select the report? Does it then run?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hello Kathleen,____We have about the same problem. We have designed a report with the R&R Report Designer. When we make a Print Preview the result is correct, but when we want to print with RRWRUN.EXE calling from our clipper program it is not always correct. We are using a scope. In some cases there are not enough record and sometimes there a no records. When we leave the scope empty, it seems that the same records are missing. We are printing to a PDF file, but that seems not to be the problem, because when I use the Report Viewer the result is also not correct (the same records are missing). When I remove all the relations it works fine, so I think it has something to do with the relations.____We are use R&R for Windows, Xbase Edition Version 12, Build 12.0.001 and my computer has Windows XP Professional.__

If you are using V12.0.001 then you need to download the 12.0.002 rrwrun.exe from http://www.livewarepub.com/software/rrwrun12_02.zip____Kathleen__R&R Support
