dot matrix printer and form length

I have a dot matrix printer and I am having a problem setting up the "form length." It looks right on the screen, but when I do page setup there are no options that allow me to give the right setting -8.5 Wide x 3.5 Long. I have tried using "user setting" but then it will not print corrrectly at all. Every other paper setting is too long and the second form does not print on the right lines. I am using a tractor with multi forms attached for checks. acuteangal__

For our dot matrix printer (Epson DFX-8000) we first had to set a custom paper size in the Windows Control Panel. We were then able to select that custom paper size within R&R.
