dummy field names

I just tried to create a report from a Visual FoxPro table. When I look at the list of fields in R&R, they all show up with the name "dummy".____When I copy the table data to a new table via the COPY TO command in VFP and open that new table in R&R, the field names display normally. I^ve written a lot of reports, but I^ve never seen this.____I can^t use this table as is because I can^t easily tell one "dummy" field from another and I can^t make any calculations since the field names are not unique.____Does anybody know why this would happen and how to handle it?

This is some problem with my database container. When I open the table directly, there^s no problem.
