Using RRW9.0, I have converted several reports from rr6.0 DOS. RR9.0 is installed on my Win2000 workstation, which is on a Novell LAN. I have copied the runtime stuff into a directory on the LAN so I can test reports in the same environment to which I distribute them to clients.____A report which prints a calculated field which uses the c_lookup() function prints the looked up values when run from the workstation, in the report designer, or in runtime from the server IN MY OFFICE. __But the values are missing when runtime printing is done from the Citrix server based app in my client^s site. ____I have installed RRW9.0 on my notebook, which I use to make site changes at my clients. It prints blanks on the notebook computer, as well. Since the runtime files were copied from the notebook to the server there may be some causative effect here. But I have reinstalled RR9.0 from the CD to the notebook and the probelm still exists there.____Anyone have any suggestions?____Thanks.____cal

Are you using full paths/filenames for the lookup file and index?____Kathleen__R&R Support

How can I find out the answer to this? And, more importantly, how can I insure that it is what I want it to be in the future?____I^m certain that this is the problem, now that you asked me the question. The Citrix directory tree is different from the development machine and so is the notebook, since it uses its own local directories. In both cases, the master database file is in the directory from which the app and the report are executed, but so are the lookup tables.____Thank you for you help.____cal

I just went to the notebook to see if it looked different than the Win2000 developement machine. On options/file settings... the extensions were not specified on the notebook. I fixed this and the report worked perfectly. ____How did this this NOT get copied to the notebook when I copied the .rrw file?____When I get good enough to not make this kind of problems for myself, I think I^ll takeup skydiving or something. On second thought, that probably wouldn^t be a good pastime for someone who learns best my making mistakes first. ;)

The options get stored to the c:windows rw.ini file.____Kathleen__R&R Support
