export file names driven by date

Post by Brad_Wells_(Guest) » Fri Mar 12, 2004 3:01 pm

I have a report that needs to be run daily and posted on a web server. How can I set up the report to be scheduled and have the file name include the current date? For example, Report_one_March_03_2004.html, Report _one_March_04_2004.html.____The object here is of course, automatting the process.____Thanks for any tips.

What you could do is create a report whose output is a text file whose contents are really a runtime control file.__Then you could create a calculated field based on the current date for your RI_OUTFILE value.__Then in Windows schedule this report to run immediately before the second report that will use the control file as input.____Kathleen__R&R Support__
