I^ve encountered a situation where, occasionally, the page footer does not print on my report. This doesn^t occur every time the report is printed - maybe only 5% of the time. When this happens, the following page has the last group header reprinted with no record data. Below is a quick sketch of what happens_..____-------Page 1--------__Report Header__Page Header__Group Header _ 1st group___Group data__Group Header _ 2nd group___Group data__Group Header _ 3rd group___Group data__Group Header _ 4th group___Group data__-------end of page, no page footer --------____-------Page 2--------__Group Header _ 4th group (repeated)____Page footer__Report footer__-------end of page-------____Any ideas what is going on here?____Thanks,__Laura

Do you have swap footer enabled for any of your group levels in Database->Group Order?____That will cause the group footer to be swapped for the page footer on the last page for that group level.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Yes, we have swap footer set on the group footer. We want a different footer on the last page. I tried removing the swap footer setting and it did print the footer on the second to last page but also printed it on the last page (which we don^t want). Interestingly, when I unchecked swap footer, it still repeated the last group header with no data on the last page....____The confusing thing is that for 95% of our reports, it works fine. It seems to get mixed up when the last page is completely full of headers, footers, and records. It doesn^t seem to think it^s the last page. That^s when it repeats the last header on a new page with no data and doesn^t print the footer on the second to last page.____Thanks,__Laura

Are you page and swapped group footers the exact same size?__If not, that can cause a problem.__Also not having a record band line on the report could be why you are seeing the repeated group header.____Kathleen__R&R Support
