report not printing to correct tray

Post by Rob_(Guest) » Thu Feb 19, 2004 2:18 pm

Using RR10 and HP laserjet 4300. Regardless of paper type or tray passed to rswrun the report always prints to the default paper tray (manual paper tray). ____When I change the default paper tray in the windows driver it still prints to manual paper tray. ____Any ideas?

You may need to open the report with that printer, select the tray and then save the report.____Kathleen__R&R Support

We^ve tried that previously and that doesn^t work either.____The problem is that these reports are printed by different departments on different printers, which all have multiple paper sources. Depending on the department that is printing the report the paper sources would be different(internal reports are on recycled paper, client reports on higher quality paper). ____Where^s the functionailty to pass paper source? We used to be able to do this with escape codes in older version of R&R.____Rob
