setOutputDest not working

I am trying to call setOutputDest (XBASE 8.1) with the ^?^ paramater to get a dialog box, but I do not get the box as described in the manual. If I hit print it goes to the printer. is there a bug with this function?____I have successfully used Setprinter() with ^?^.____Thanks__Fred
