shortcut maker

I have just installed R & R xbase version 12.5.001 on my new Windows 8 computer. I can run reports fine. But, when I try to run the shortcut maker I get the error - "Cannot Create Specified Icon". It does not tell me anything else and no icon is made. How can I fix this?

We^re working on an update to the shortcut maker. It will be posted separately when it^s ready.
