I had a strange thing happen to me today. I am using R&R Version 10.0.011 XBase edition on Windows XP Pro.____I ran a report, which I run every quarter. Some of the fields in the report have minor changes, but the fields and field lengths remain the same. I create a pdf file from the database file. All my previous reports have been under 1/2 mb, last month it was 447K. I ran it this month, several times, and the size is 1,200K or 1.2 mb. The larger file actually has 116 pages versus the smaller file with 119 pages.____I^m a little worried about this, as the report size should remain about the same. I have called up the report and other then taken 3 times as long to load, it looks as it should, from the first page to the last page.____Has anyone else had anything like this happen? Does the report keep getting bigger and bigger?____Tom

I have not seen this before. If you have Adobe Acrobat, it has a a PDF consultant that allows you to see what is in a PDF file by content type and I think will allow you to clean up wasted space.____But I do not know what might cause extra stuff to show up when a PDF is created by R&R.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Kathleen,____I have the free version of acrobat v 5.0 I called up both documents and looked at the preferences and everything except the size looks the same. It is showing PDF Version 1.2 (Acrobat 3.x) by Amyuni PDF Converter.____You can look at both created documents on my website http://www.railsoft.com The U.S. Price Master is 1.2 mb and the Canadian Price Master is 446 K. Both Price Master are exactly the same with the exception of some material prices only. The U.S. Price Master is the one I made this month and has 116 pages. The Canadian Price Master was made three months ago and has 119 pages.______Tom
