vfp to sql conversion rocks!

Post by rboatright » Tue Aug 24, 2010 11:13 am

We recently did an upgrade of one of our users from VFP based code to SQL based code. The customer had an extensive library of R&R reports written in version 10. ____After installing 12.5, we used the xbase to sql conversion utility to move the reports into the sql environment. ____Once we had worked out a procedure for ensuring that the reports were seeing the correct server and database, the actual time to convert each report was under four minutes. ____THANK YOU for the excellent work. I was dreading this update. You made it easy. ____Rick Boatright__TBC Software __
