Can^t match printer in control file

Post by DaveK_(Guest) » Wed Sep 25, 2002 10:48 am

We are getting the error message "Cannot match printer or port in control file" when we try to run one of our reports, despite the fact that we are using the R&R OCX and are not (knowingly) using control tables. Other reports from the same application work without any problem. Also this only afflicts a small number of our customers, on most machines the same report runs without any problem. Any suggestions?____Thanks

The error message is holdover from the pre-OCX/DLL days of R&R and for the OCX refers to a property problem.__Are you setting a value for the windows printer or port in your application? R&R is complaining that it cannot match one of these values to the available printers on this machine.____Kathleen__R&R Support
