I am using R&R for Windows, Xbase Edition version 8.0.____I am currently working on a rp5 report library. I get a error message saying "This report cannot be saved in a library without information loss. It must be saved as a report file (.RRW) instead."____Here is a bit of rundown of the situation:__I have changed and commited the rp5 file 4 times after we branched the project. I haven^t noticed any issue on saving until I was going to make another change on it today. I have tried the saving by updating the rp5 file to every previous revision. The only revision that be saved without any error is the branching revision. But I managed to save it properly in all the following commits until today. I have also asked another workmate to try it for me and she could see the same error message as well. This is so weird!!____I have tried google on this issue. It returned me the V12 user manual, which is not too helpful in this case. I am just wondering what could possibly cause the issue.______Any thought on this would be highly appreciated!!__HG

You must have made a change in the report that would cause an internal record type to be created that was not available in earlier releases.____At some point you really should go to individual RRW files rather than using a RP5 where all of your reports are in the same file structure. The more that you write to an RP5, the more fragmented/fragile it becomes.____Kathleen__R&R Support
