Conversion to SQL

I am a long time xBase R&R user and now need to convert some reports to SQL due to a GL upgrade. When I convert, the reports print fine except that they always use the default database last selected when R&R was started. I had hoped that I could use Rapid Runner to use one report form for multiple identical databases like in xBase, but that doesn^t appear to be the case. Is there something in the SQL version that will address this issue?____Thanks,__Larry Cook

Are you using SQL Server? R&R should use the database that is set as the default within the data source.____Kathleen__R&R Support

I am actually using MSDE, but it uses the SQL drivers. The problem is that since each company in the General Ledger has it^s own database, the SQL default is the last one that was used. I was able to solve the problem by setting up a data source in OBDC for each company and explicitly identifying the database. Then I could specify the data source in Rapid Runner, or when opening the report in Designer.____Thanks for your help.____Larry Cook
