Converting .rp1 to .rp5 with rrconvert - text comes out 7 pitch

Post by Dweis_(Guest) » Tue Apr 17, 2001 2:11 pm

I have upgraded from R&R Dos (4) to 8.1 I have reports in .rp1 libraries & when I run the rrconvert utility to convert to xbase (.rp5) it runs no problem. But...some reports end up converting with at courier font with 7 pitch - 7! Needless to say the entire report is scrunched into the upper left-hand corner. I have tried numerous approaches to solving this problem (turning off compression then converting, changing page margins, changing font before compression) and still this occurs. Any ideas?__Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Were you using a font information file (FIF) in the DOS version?__We can probably solve this by editing the file RRWFIF.INI.__This INI controls how fonts/spacing are translated from DOS to Windows reports.____Kathleen__R&R Support
