Does anyone know if the latest version or R&R Infinity supports the NVARCHAR data type (aka unicode) ?

If this is SQL Server, you can use the Data Direct SQL driver to see nvarchar. Or you can use the Microsoft driver and and do a user sql report. Here you can use the CAST function to turn an NVARCHAR to a VARCHAR.____Kathleen__R&R Support

It is not in SQL Server, it is Oracle 9i.

After further investigation, we have identified the Oracle ODBC Driver 9.02.00.02 dated 6/2/2002 was the cause of R&R not being able to print out NVARCHAR data. We downgraded the driver to 9.02.00.00 dated 3/12/2002 and NVARCHAR data now show up on the report. Certain portions of R&R Infinity version 12.0.002 required the Oracle 9.02.00.02 driver, so we installed it. Please advise if we still need that driver version and if you know of an updated Oracle driver that does not have this issue with NVARCHAR data types in R&R.
