Debugger error with new release

Post by KenB » Thu Nov 13, 2008 9:26 am

When I try to save a report that uses multiple tables (5), I get the following screen that pops up indicating this error:____Visual Studio Just in Time Debugger__An unhandled win32 exception occurred in RSW.exe [2516]____It then asks:__Do you want to debug using the selected debugger?__"New instance of Visual Studio 2005" is highlighted. ____If I say no, it closes the program and saves it as a recoverable report (Autosave?)When I restart R&R, it says a copy of the report was saved, do you want to open. If I say "no", I lose the report.____Reports that only uses 2 or 3 tables are no problem.

Try disabling the Report Librarian by adding the line:__LIBRARIAN=OFF____to the DEFAULTS section of RSW.INI____You can also disable AutoSave by using Options Preferences Auto Save.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Turning off the Librarian cured the problem.
