SQL or not

Ask any questions you have about purchasing R&R ReportWorks. Will it work with my operating system? Will it access my database? Can I convert my old reports?

Post by rickwjohnson » Tue Jan 08, 2002 10:02 pm

I am a 12 year user of R&R Xbase versions. In fact, I am hooked on R&R. ____I now have a client that wants me to do some things with ACCESS databases. I presume that I need the SQL version to do very much at all. That being said:____1. What is the learning curve from Xbase to SQL__2. Would I have two versions on my computer in different folders or would they be comingled__3. Is there any sharing of files between the two versions.______Thanks for any insight and help.__Rick Johnson____ps. I really do like R&R. It has been a life saver in many situations.__Rick Johnson__Rick Johnson__Rick Johnson

You can install the SQL and Xbase versions of R&R on the same computer without a problem.____Or alternatively you can export the tables in Access to DBF and then just use the Xbase version.______Kathleen__R&R Support
