Version 6 vs version 9 or 10

I would love to have RR but cannot afford versions 9 or 10 - have used it at work - version 2, I think, and from that we updated to 9 - we made basic reports, work about students records, never did anything with wesites.__Pls, I could just about afford version 6 for single user - is there so much difference between versions 6 vs 9 / and / version 6 vs 10.__What is the main difference??__Thanks a lot__Sonja
