You can use ADT files with ADS-ODBC driver and the SQL-Version of R&R, but the reports runs very slow.____Currently we export all adt-data we want to report to dbf-tables.____An importet issue for us is to set a password on encrypted dbf or adt tables.____TO R&R development:__a nativ driver and a API is avalible on http://devzone.advantagedatabase.com____the driver is licensefree and you can use the driver for server and local access. ____Friedhelm

It is extremely important for use also to utilize the native ADS drivers for both DBF and ADT files. ____Main reasons.____1. We can use the ADS encryption built in. In this day and age of computer theft and identity theft, having the files in an encrypted format is very important.____2. Access to 4GB and even now 8GB files. With ADT files, the file size is even larger.____3. With native access, we can turn on proprietary locking and remove access to the database files from normal users. Thus, they cannot see the files in excell or other tools because they do not have access to the directory with the data.____We could be interested in funding some of the cost of this capability.
