User Discussion Forum login

I am not sure where I should post this question so I posted here. ____How can I stay login to the User Discussion Forum? I am a register user and every time when I login, I don^t see an icon where I can change my user profile. Also when I post a message, the icon next to my name indicates that I am a guest.____Thanks.
