I am on an XP machine with 512 mb RAM. If I run a report in version 9 or 10 that has footers in it and I have the CDINTIF.DLL file, I will get an error when creating a pdf report. If I take out the footers, the pdf is created. This has been a problem for a long time and I just found out that it pertains to footers and perhaps to XP OS as well. I say that, because it works fine with my Win 98 machine, but not on either XP Home or XP Pro.____Is there a fix that is currently being worked on.____Thanks____Tom Freitas__freitas@railsoft.com

[updated:LAST EDITED ON Oct-25-02 AT 10:46 AM (EST)]Kathleen,____I know as a developer how frustrating it can be for someone to state a problem that you can not replicate. This problem could be some kind of conflict with the way my system is configured or even some other factor. It is also a problem that seems to be hitting others. Not very many, but I would expect that as time goes on you will hear from others. If you look at my message on the User side, you will see that someone named Michael was aware of what the problem was and that when I took his advise, it worked.____I would like to send you the report that I created and have you create a pdf file with it. If you do not get the error that the system is going to shut down R&R, then I believe it is something to do with the configuration on my computer as well as a few others. If you would send me your e-mail address so I can reply with a zipped report back, I would greatly appreciate it.____If it is the case of my computer, then I know that I am left trying to figure out what the problem is. I also will not bother you with this problem again. If I come across the solution, I would certainly let you know.____I might add here, that I am a devoted customer and think that R&R is fantastic. This problem I am having is a minor problem, but a problem not the less.____Thank you for all your help and support.____Tom Freitas__freitas@railsoft.com
