Oracle Native Drivers

My Oracle 9i varchar fields return hieroglyphics when run using the Oracle native driver. If I use the Data Direct drivers provided with R&R 10+ they work fine. However as this driver is not shipped with RattleRR I don^t think I am allowed to use this driver on the web server. Is this correct? If so, is there any solution to the Oracle varchar problem. I know this was a problem with Oracle 8, but I had not seen it with Oracle 9 until using RattleRR.

I think that the licensing will allow you to use the Data Direct drivers with RattleRR since it is really the same base product.____Kathleen__R&R Support
