PDF Eburst - several issues

Post by Audrey_Kauffman_(Guest) » Thu Sep 16, 2004 7:25 pm

We purchased this software last month and have run into several issues:____(1) We are running the software on CITRIX but we get an error when trying to "process" a PDF since it says it can^t find the email client. We run email locally (on the local PC) not on CITRIX. Is there a workaround for this?____(2) We are concerned that copies of the individual PDF files being distributed are stored on the C drive of the CITRIX box. Some of these documents are highly confidential. Is there a way to automatically delete these PDFs or keep them from being stored on the C drive of the computer where the software is being run?____(3) We use Microsoft Outlook XP and Exchange 2000 for email. When doing an Eburst of a PDF file with multiple recipients, we have to click the Outlook "allow access for ___ minutes" box with each new email being created by PDF Eburst. Is there a way around this?____Thanks.

Currently I do not think that there is any workaround for the 3 issues that you have listed.____Kathleen__R&R Support

Audrey,____Check out our product, PDF-eXPLODE, as it allows for password-protecting the PDF files and sends e-mails directly through your SMTP e-mail server to avoid the annoying Outlook security blocker.____Rob__www.pdf-explode.com
