Week of year

Is there a week of year function. I had thought that there was, but I can^t seem to place it. Perhaps, I am mistaken. If not, what strategy would you employ to return weeks 1 through 52?____Week returns 1 through 5. I am not sure what strategy to take. I was considering some combination of month and week, but that would not work.
