Printing on Windows 2000

Post by Dan » Thu Jan 25, 2007 10:39 pm

I have a customer with a problem printing R&R reports on a Windows 2000 system. I can print if I close my application and run the rswrun.exe manually and open the report. It gives the error when application is open and the report in run.____The error:____Title Bar: R&R SQL Report Viewer____Message: DB access: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Driver^s__SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed____He is using Runtime SQL version 11. Would running the install for the pdf files be of any help to solve this problem? ____What about setting the rsw.ini file __UseQEConnect=1__UseDefaultDatabase=1__PDFDriver=0____Thanks__Dan__

Does your application open the data files through ODBC or in any way require exclusive access to the data?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Not that I am aware of. How do you know if it requires exclusive access? I am using datadirect ODBC for Paradox. It works OK on XPPRO but I always seem to have problems with Windows 2000.____Dan
