R&R has enountered a problem

Post by Eddie_Marshall » Wed Mar 21, 2007 11:35 am

When a particular user prints a report via Version 10 (Build 10.0.012) of RRWRUN.EXE they are getting the error: R&R Report Viewer has encountered a problem. This problem went away after adding the line PDFDRIVER=0 to the Defaults section of the RRW.INI file, both in our application directory and in her C:WINDOWS folder.____When the user logs on with their network logon to another machine and uses their own application logon they get the problem, however, when someone else logs on they don^t. Deleting their application user account and recreating it (to ensure there are no work files left behind) does not rectify the situation.____Do you have any suggestions as to what may be causing this? Is the only way to upgrade the runtime components to a later version?____Thanks.____Eddie Marshall

See if there are any instances of the file CDINTF.DLL and then rename them and see if that helps.____Kathleen__R&R Support

The user was chnaging the Tray to which the report was printing from the default. I got them to click OK to the change of Printer properties and then click the Properties button on the Print dialog again, clicking OK without making any changes and then clicking OK to print. This seems to work!____Would upgrading the runtime components to version 11 (the latest we have) sort this out?____Thanks.____Eddie Marshall

In later versions you should not need to use the Properties button.____Kathleen__R&R Support
