Fixed Font Size

Post by mhsabado_(Guest) » Thu Aug 23, 2007 6:58 am

__Hi,____I noticed that depending on the printer you selected prior to preview, the report preview is changing as well specially between "Generic/Text Printer" and other windows printers. Is it possible to use the font defined from RRWFIF.INI instead? Or any other alternative to achieve this? I^m converting my reports from R&R Version 4.0 to 12.1.____Thanks,__Mario

If you use a fixed pitch font such as Courier New and set your field widths in characters you should get the same output across printers.____Kathleen__R&R Support

__Kathleen,____I have columns with fixed fonts size to 9 or 8 pts that looks well when printed but sticking together when saved to a text file. I think the space between column was not included during export to text file? I have no problem though with 10pts size. Any workaround?____Thanks,__Mario

You need to use 10 point to have the printed output and text file output match.____Kathleen__R&R Support
