In fact PDF-eXPLODE is relatively cheap when compared to the benfit your Users will derive in automating the delivery of your reports and archiving the output for efficient retrieval. Similar systems from Large organisations cost several thousands. It^s important to assess its true capability based on how it can deliver cost benefit to your organisation. And V2 of PDF-eXPLODe can Print as well as email simulataneously, create Folders on the fly and store [optionally] password protected PDFs with customised filenames into these folders and your emails can have e-mail merge tokens which adds a personal touch. ____PDF-eXPLODE is a powerful archiving and E-delivery tool and works extremely well with R & R, Crystal, MS Access, SQL Server Reporting Services and was recently successfully trialled with Web Intelligence from Business Objects. But when you need it for 100+ plus users, it is not very cost effective. 100x300=$30,000. Even with lower volume pricing, it is still 100x100=$10,000. ____We are not looking for something free, but $100-300 per user exceeds our needs. We currently create the PDF and email it ourself automatically within our software using the R&R PDF driver. We can do alot of programming for $10,000-40,000. But unless Liveware comes up with a different solution than the AmyUni driver, we have a problem.____Sure there are other PDF drivers out there, but they generally do not work without user intervention to specify the output file.
