RSWRun in Citrix Environment

Post by Carol_P_(Guest) » Wed Jan 16, 2008 11:00 am

Hello,____We have a client using our software which calls RSWRun via the OCX in a Citrix environment. Some users are able to print but others get an error that there is no default printer. There is a default printer to which all users have access. ____Setting the parameters to force the user to select a printer did not work____The client then found a work around which was to setup the user to print IP direct and create a local printer. However they would like to fix the problem so that all users can use the standard set up____Thanks for any advice__Regards__Carol

Does setting the printer name to DEFAULT in the OCX help at all?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Then somehow R&R must not be seeing that printer. I do not know enough about Citrix to know where to look for a solution. R&R makes a call to the o/s to ask for the list of current printers and in this case the call must be coming back empty for whatever reason.____Kathleen__R&R Support
