Assert((int)font.. error in R&R 12
Just upgraded to R&R Xbase Edition 12.1.001 from version 9.0.05. When trying to open existing Visual FoxPro 9.0 tables I receive the following error. ____"Assert((int)font<ps>pDest.wpd.numPrtFaces);R&R for Xbase File E:RRPD|PWDRIVER.cpp, Line 291."____If I continue on through several itterations of the error the Report Designer will eventually open the tables and begin to function as normal. Any thoughts as to the source of this error??? E: was the drive letter of the CD ROM drive. BTY Same error on both VISTA and XP.

That is strange. If the files are on a local machine rather than the network do you see the same error?____Kathleen__R&R Support

==> Assert((int)font.. error in R&R 12
Hi Kathleen. Same issue whether the tables are local or on the network. We do use Stonefield and Cryptor on some of the tables. However, the particular table that is giving the error does not use either. I failed to mention in my origional post that we are able to open some tables but not others. Sorry for that omission.

===> RE: Assert((int)font.. error
I got this message yesterday for the first time. Was not able to open a new report with the Wizard only with a blank report. the files are on a local machine. I clicked about 10 times on the retry but was not able to do anything. ____Thanks for any help in advance.

Rick,__I^m seeing the same thing. As I cycle through the errors they switch from line 291 to 504 and back again. After maybe 6 or 7 itterations of this the tables will finally open up. I still have not found a solution to this issue. If you come across anything please post back. ____Thanks,__Tom

Have you tried re-installing to see if that makes any difference?____Kathleen__R&R Support

Hi Kathleen,__Yes. I have tried on both an XP Sp3 machine and a VISTA box. Same results on both.

Have you tried using a different default printer?____Kathleen__R&R Support

I tried a directly connected HP printer (non networked) and still received the same error.
